Our Environmental Pledge to you
Green Metroplex Service and Sales practices safe and sane battery recycling for the protection of the environment, as a public service.
Every part, wire and battery and even the dirt on a used or worn out E-trike is recycled, especially battery materials like cadmium, lithium, lead or acid which are never sent to a solid waste landfill.
What we ask of you:
We encourage you to only and always charge your E-trike or other electric battery powered devices or vehicles ONLY AT NIGHT, when that practice will actually decrease your Carbon Footprint. We also encourage you to get and use recycling waste containers at home and at work.

Sorry folks, this page is still in
development.
The term "Hypermiling' means to use driving techniques that increase
ones automobile mileage more than just a little bit. If one "hypermiles"
one can make ones car go further with less gas.
Techniques and links to participant web sites will soon be added to this
page. Some of the delay is due to our policy of putting our money where
our mouth is and that means DOING some of these techniques to see
whether the suggested techniques work and to find out if they are safe
to do for ourselves, others and our car.
For example: We do NOT recommend putting ones automatic shift
car into neutral to coast to a stop sign before stopping, because some
cars do not have a safety gate that stops a car from going into reverse
while moving forward, if one is sloppy while trying to shift from Drive to
Neutral; that was one of the suggested techniques for Hypermiling that
we found that is known to destroy automatic transmissions if done
incorrectly.
Another glitch in these techniques was to determine that the practice of
turning the engine off while at stops is not practical and is also hazardous
if done during heavy traffic periods of the day. One is in danger of being
tail-ended by impatient drivers, while starting an engine back up and
getting into gear.
