Our Environmental Pledge to you

Green Metroplex Service and Sales practices safe and sane battery recycling for the
protection of the environment, as a public service.

Every part, wire and battery and even the dirt on a used or worn out E-trike is recycled, especially
battery materials like cadmium, lithium, lead or acid which are never sent to a solid waste landfill.

What we ask of you:

We encourage you to only and always charge your E-trike or other electric battery powered
devices or vehicles
ONLY AT NIGHT, when that practice will actually decrease your Carbon Footprint.
We also encourage you to get and
use recycling waste containers at home and at work.

Creative slope building takes advantage of natural rainfall for water
We show you how to use newspapers for weed control
An overview of healthy green gardening tips.
Under Construction
After smoothing the ground fill, layer it with newspapers for weed control.
To stop rainwater
from causing
foundation shift
problems, we
installed landscape
timbers to build a
short, three-high
retaining wall and
filled that in with
second grade dirt.
We sloped at a slight
gradient away from our foundation to facilitate
drainage away from our porch and our home's
foundations. The gentle slope acts to obtain a
free source of clean rain-water for plants and
grass in the vicinity whenever the rains come.
   Notice that
we used newspapers to cover
the dirt
as a substitute for heavy-duty plastic
to stop weed growth. We covered that with a
high grade redwood chip decorative ground
cover to hide the newspapers from view and
obtained a professional landscape finish.
